NEW Trim and Dust Collection System Developments from GF Puhl

GF Puhl Co. Inc. of Gallatin Tennessee, one of the largest providers of custom engineered trim waste and dust collection systems in the USA offers cutting edge solutions that will keep your operation competitive and safe in 2011 and beyond. With 35 years of experience, owner & president Gregg Puhl says the key to Puhl’s success is always putting the customer first and standing behind our work. Puhl has long term relationships with most of the largest printing, packaging and corrugated companies in the USA. New developments for 2010-2011 include the following; Velocity Sensor:A velocity sensor is now available that does not
protrude into the duct and is capable of measuring velocities in
excess of 6000 ft./min. allowing the end user to fine tune speeds for
various production configurations reducing power consumption.
Blower Bearing Vibration Monitoring: Puhl’s vibration monitoring solution includes a
user friendly three state status “normal, warning or alarm”on yourcritical trim system
blower bearings.
Explosion Vent Burst Detector: This device attaches to a filter’s explosion vent panel
and is connected to the system’s master safety circuit. If a vent bursts, the system’s
blowers and compressed air pulses are shut down immediately.
Shredder Fire Detection: These systems can be retrofit onto rotary grinder type
shredders. The system automatically shuts the shredder down when temperatures
exceed the set point.
Flameless Explosion Venting: These vents allow a filter to meet NFPA guidelines
while avoiding wall or roof penetrations.
All of these items are retrofittable into your existing system or can be designed into new.
